Jono's Logo.png

Jono’s is the culmination of a lifetime of taking homemade food into work. Sharing cookies in Edinburgh theatre spaces, cakes in London offices and brownies eaten with muddy fingers in swish Sydney gardens.

Now I’ve just cut out the rest of the boring work and am focusing on delicious bread and sweet things.

 Values

Protecting the environment and lessening my contribution to the climate crisis has been at the forefront of my mind for the majority of my life.

At Jono’s, I strive to use ethically-sourced ingredients and work with them in an environmentally-conscious way.

Packaging: All packaging is recyclable and compostable (and the vast majority is also made of recycled paper).

Energy: our kitchen is powered by 100% renewable energy through a green plan with OVO Energy.

Animal welfare: all of my products are vegan which means that no animal is exploited in the name of baked goods. While I am keen to stick to this rule, it does not mean that quality suffers; I believe my products taste as good, if not better than, their non-vegan counterparts.

Plastic: Where plastic is the best option for the job, I aim to purchase second hand or recycled products. Otherwise, I prefer to use glass, ceramic or metal equipment.

Delivery: All deliveries are made either by foot or bicycle - no exhaust fumes here!
